Ken Bell - Bio and Family

Bio

            I live and work in Calgary Alberta. My work in the IT sector allows me to indulge in two of my favorite pastimes, traveling and photography. I have been a photographer for over 25 years, but it has only been since digital photography became popular that I have become more involved with this craft. Digital photography has allowed me the freedom to experiment with various types of imaging. I mainly concentrate on landscape and nature photography, with some macro, usually of flowers and insects. Principally I shoot in color, although I am also interested in black and white photography.

Sisters

            I have three sisters, Carole, Tanis and Wendy. Carole and Tanis each have two offspring, in each case a boy and a girl. Their families have expanded to include five grandchildren now. Emily was the first grandchild, followed by Luke, Hannah and Forest. Our latest edition to the family is Amy, who was born in December 2009. Amy, Sabrina, Carole and Dennis came to visit me in September 2010. To read about their visit, click here.

Family–Relatives

            My relatives extend all the way from Montreal to Vancouver. I have one aunt who remains alive, and more relatives than I can count. All my paternal and maternal relatives are really nice people, and I am fortunate to have such a wonderful extended family. Below is the Bell family at the Bell family 50th reunion in 2008.
